“Kwik Trip Enters Third Day of System Outage”
Kwik Trip, a prominent convenience-store chain, is grappling with a persistent system outage entering its third day. The outage has left all of its stores without internet services, causing disruptions to various operations, particularly affecting the retailer’s loyalty program.
Ongoing System Disruption
The convenience-store chain took to Facebook to inform its customers about the ongoing issue. A Facebook post from Kwik Trip stated, “Hi, there! As you are aware, we are currently experiencing an incident that has caused a disruption to our systems. We will update this communication when services are restored and functioning as usual. As always, we appreciate your patience while we work through this issue.”
When contacted for more details, a spokesperson mentioned, “We do not have any additional information to share at this time, but we will keep you apprised of relevant developments. From a guest perspective, you will see some challenges regarding our loyalty program, product shortages, and promotional pricing.”
The problem originally surfaced on a Monday morning and continues to persist. According to a manager at a Kwik Trip location in southeastern Wisconsin, “It’s still down. There’s no internet across the company. This is affecting using rewards cards.” Furthermore, the issue has also impacted Kwik Trip’s headquarters located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Another Facebook post from Kwik Trip reassured its customers, saying, “We will update your loyalty when our system is functional. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us at
One concerned customer on Facebook inquired, “What’s going on tonight with the Apple iPhone Kwik Trip App? It won’t load, and the rewards member login on your actual website won’t load either.”
