Currently, A’ja Wilson appears to be the frontrunner for MVP, having an exceptional season that could rival some of the best in WNBA history. Cheryl Reeve of the Minnesota Lynx is a top candidate for Coach of the Year, turning her team into a title contender and Commissioner’s Cup champion. DiJonai Carrington from the Connecticut Sun is making a strong case for Most Improved Player, showcasing her skills as a dynamic scorer and top perimeter defender.

Other awards remain up for grabs. The Defensive Player of the Year race is particularly competitive, with several standout candidates. Sixth Player of the Year will depend on lineup strategies going forward, and Rookie of the Year is shaping up to be a close contest between Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, depending on their teams’ playoff performances.

We’ll continue tracking these races throughout the season to see how they unfold.
