Novitec Unleashes a 697-HP Rolls-Royce Cullinan Fit for the Hip-Hop Royalty

In the world of automobiles, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan stands as a pinnacle of opulence and power. This extravagant SUV needs no introduction, and one might think that modifying it would be like adding a mustache to the Mona Lisa. Yet, the folks at Novitec, the tuning experts, have taken on this peculiar challenge, and the results are surprisingly impressive.

A Fashionable Makeover: The Spofec Overdose S Kit

The transformation begins with what Novitec cheekily calls the “Spofec Overdose S widebody kit.” This kit doesn’t pull any punches and starts at the front end. Novitec has given the Cullinan a new bumper, featuring reimagined LED daytime running lights and a slick black grille.

It’s like giving a classic tuxedo a snazzy bowtie. But that’s not all; the bodykit adds flared wheel arches both in the front and rear, adding a generous 4.7 inches (that’s 120 mm for the metrically inclined) to the SUV’s width. It’s the equivalent of the Cullinan saying, “I need some more space, please.”

Oh, and Novitec didn’t stop there. They threw in more conspicuous side skirts, just to keep things interesting. It’s like adding racing stripes to a luxury yacht; it may not make it faster, but it sure looks cooler.

All in the Details: The Overdose S Widebody Kit

The makeover is completed with a new lip spoiler on the trunk lid, a more dramatic rear bumper, and a diffuser that makes it look ready to take off. The cherry on top is a set of 24-inch alloy wheels, co-created with Vossen. These wheels have an air of sophistication and can be paired with aluminum spacers to give the Cullinan an even wider stance.

The wheels on our example are sleek black, but you’ll be amazed to know that there are 71 other finishes to choose from. So, you can have your Cullinan in just about any color you fancy, or even color-coordinate it with your favorite pair of sneakers.

Going Low and Boosting Power: The Novitec Touch

In true Novitec fashion, they didn’t forget about the suspension. The Cullinan now sits 1.6 inches lower than the stock version. It’s like giving a top hat-wearing giraffe a little haircut – it looks classy and a tad more nimble.

But the real magic happens under the hood. Novitec has a “plug-and-play control unit” that’s like the SUV’s own espresso shot. It injects an extra 106 horsepower and 118 lb-ft of torque into the 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine. The Cullinan goes from a stately 591 horsepower to a whopping 697 horses, ready to gallop at 5,400 rpm. Torque gets a boost too, from 850 Nm to 1,060 Nm, kicking in as low as 1,800 rpm. Now, the Cullinan has the power to move like a bullet train dressed in a three-piece suit.

Quicker and Louder: The Final Flourish

With the added oomph, the British cruiser now dashes to 62 mph (or 100 km/h for our friends on the metric side) in just 4.6 seconds. Impressive for a vehicle that’s essentially a moving luxury suite. However, they’ve kept the original 155 mph (250 km/h) electronic speed limiter. It’s like putting a leash on a cheetah – you know it’s fast, but it’s only allowed to go so far.

And last but not least, Novitec throws in a stainless steel exhaust with adjustable butterfly valves. It’s like having a personal orchestra on your travels. If that’s not your jam, there’s also an exhaust without these valves for a quieter but no less classy ride. It’s your choice – go for the roar or keep things mellow.

In the end, Novitec has managed to turn the extravagant Rolls-Royce Cullinan into an even more magnificent beast. It’s like giving a crown to a king. So, if you ever find yourself behind the wheel of one of these tuned Cullinans, just remember that luxury, style, and a dash of humor make for the perfect road trip.
