An upcoming vivo X100 Ultra and a vivo X100s have been teased through an official announcement widely circulated on social media in China. The X100 Ultra will feature a fresh camera setup for its triple shooters, while the X100s will adopt a design similar to the vanilla X100 Pro.
Renderings of the vivo X100 Ultra and X100s have surfaced online, generating significant buzz on platforms like Weibo. Though the original source and high-resolution images are yet to be confirmed, initial glimpses reveal intriguing details. The X100 Ultra boasts a periscope camera, adorned with the Zeiss logo featuring T* coating for the lenses. Additional markings on the rim hint at a 14 mm equivalent wide-angle shooter and an 85 mm equivalent telephoto cam. Anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the X100 Ultra promises high-performance capabilities.
In contrast, the vivo X100s stands out primarily due to its updated chipset. Reports suggest it will be equipped with a Dimensity 9300+ chipset, featuring a slightly enhanced major core clocked at 3.4 GHz—an improvement over the 3.25 GHz clock speed observed in benchmarks shared by a vivo executive.
